Terms of use
Effective 30 October 2026
Using MtrXTools
MtrXTools provides free network diagnostic tools on mtrxtools.com and through its API and MCP server. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools to diagnose systems you run, or public services in the normal way any visitor would. You must not:
- use the site to harass, overload or attack any system, or to get around another service's limits or access controls;
- try to make the site contact private, internal or otherwise restricted networks;
- send automated traffic beyond the published rate limits, or try to evade them;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We may block traffic that breaks these rules or threatens the service.
The API
The API is free for reasonable use within its rate limits, as described in the developer documentation. Its endpoints and response formats may change; versioned paths are kept stable where we can.
Results
Results show what our servers or your browser observed at the time of the check. Networks change, caches differ and third-party data can be wrong, so results are provided for information only and without any warranty. Check important decisions against your own systems and providers.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, suspend or remove any tool at any time. To the extent the law allows, MtrXTools is not liable for any loss arising from using, or being unable to use, the site or its results.
Content and trademarks
The site's text, design and code are owned by MtrXTools. Other names mentioned belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility or comparison.
Privacy
How information is handled is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed.
